In 1922, ten members of the Farrington family drove across the country to California - crammed into two trucks, a Jeffery car, and an old Overland five.

My great-great-aunt Nell Farrington kept the account of that journey, in her own words. A century later, I've brought it back into print, illustrated by hand, as a tribute to the aunt who made sure the story wouldn't be forgotten.
